Here at BerryWorld, working with nature, we are convinced that sustainability is a natural part of being a successful business and we continually strive to act in a transparent and responsible way.
We work with our growers worldwide to provide great tasting berries whilst working to reduce our impact on the environment. Our berries are produced to independently audited standards and we have numerous sustainability accreditations and partnerships across the globe.
We strive to educate everyone across the supply chain to lower their environmental impact; from scientific breeding processes, to recycled material in our plant pots, to reusable, returnable packing trays and kerbside-recyclable punnets.

Conscious of our impact, we actively seek sustainable solutions in all areas of our berry business. We want to lead by example, more than mere sustainability preachers, or even teachers, but sustainability doers. Across our berry world we have already demonstrated examples of this through:

🖊️ Becoming a sponsor of Stronger Together, a multi-stakeholder business-led initiative aiming to reduce modern slavery
🌍 Committing to the WRAP Food and Drink Pact in 2020, joining other members in working to reduce food waste by 50% by 2030
🤝 Supporting fair labour as a sponsor of the Stronger Together South Africa programme since 2017, helping agri-businesses embed responsible recruitment practices and reduce the risk of labour exploitation
🇪🇸 Membership of the Spanish Ethical Trade Forum since 2016, a collaborative initiative working to improve conditions across the Spanish agri-food sector
🌐 Membership of the EETF since 2015, a multi-stakeholder initiative addressing responsible sourcing in Egypt
🔗 Membership of FNET, the Food Network for Ethical Trade, working alongside over 80 suppliers and retailers to drive positive change in global food supply chain working conditions — including a co-lead position in the Common Due-Diligence Working Group in 2025
