Something about a glass of Pimm’s on a hot summer day never fails to deliver – this non-alcoholic version uses balsamic for a delicious, sober, and sweet twist.

There’s nothing quite like a glass of Pimm’s absolutely loaded with fruit and berries on a hot summer day. It’s one of those recipes that essentially makes itself: chop to your eyes’ content, fill the jug, and get baking in the sun! Though, of course, don’t forget to wear suncream.

This Pimm’s recipe is alcohol free, and the balsamic does a lot to give that slight kick of something alcoholic without having to worry about it tasting ‘vinegary’ — or about the kids getting at the wrong jug. This pairs perfectly with sweet treats like our Strawberry & White Chocolate Muffin recipe, or (for the veggies) a Harissa Halloumi blueberry couscous.

Here's how to make the best alcohol free Pimm's

  • Start by combining the tonic, lemonade, and balsamic in a large jug — mix this well but be careful not to stir the bubbles out of the tonic and lemonade! The aim here is just to thoroughly mix the liquids, not to flatten them.
  • Chop the orange, strawberries, raspberries, cucumber, and mint and add to the jug along with the ice.
  • Give it all a light stir and serve.

Ingredients

  • 150ml Tonic water
  • 450ml Lemonade
  • 5ml Balsamic vinegar
  • BerryWorld strawberries and raspberries
  • Orange, Cucumber, Mint and Ice to serve
