We're pleased to announce the launch of BerryWorld Asia, a dedicated regional division created to bring the best of our berry brands to markets across Asia. With teams based in Shanghai and Hong Kong, this new division strengthens our presence in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.
BerryWorld Asia marks the first entry of our BerryWorld brand into China. The launch includes a vibrant new label tailored to local consumer preferences, underlining our ongoing commitment to delivering delicious berries for future generations.
The division will distribute premium berries under Agroberries Group’s trusted consumer brands, including BerryWorld, BerryFresh and Red Crown. With a focus on flavour and consistency, our partners and consumers can expect year-round access to berries that are bursting with berry goodness.
Max Emden, Head of Asia, leads the team combining local insight with global expertise to build stronger partnerships and provide tailored support to growers, suppliers and retailers throughout the region.
Jorge Varela, CEO of Agroberries Group, commented:
“We’re incredibly excited to bring BerryWorld to Asia, a region full of opportunity, innovation, and a deep appreciation for high-quality fresh produce. This launch marks a significant milestone in our global journey, and we’re looking forward to building strong partnerships and delivering our award-winning berry varieties to consumers across the region.”
Building global reach with local roots
Our global supply network includes origins in Peru, Morocco, Chile, South Africa, Mexico, Zimbabwe and Egypt. With plans to invest in future production projects across Asia, BerryWorld Asia represents a vital step in our long-term strategy to shape the future of berries.
This move also includes our first campaign in India, where demand for high-quality blueberries is on the rise. Entering one of Asia’s most complex and promising markets reflects our continued focus on tailored supply, strong partnerships and regional category growth.
