A welcome return to Fruit Attraction with a focus on our passionate people & award-winning varieties
Last week, our berry team from around the world were back at Fruit Attraction talking berries.
It was the 5th year we exhibited at Fruit Attraction, which is now in its 14th edition, and the balance was really positive for the team. “It was great to be able to see everyone again in person, whilst meeting customers, suppliers and friends in the berry industry", says Ivan Leache, Managing director at BerryWorld Spain.
To celebrate being together in person again, we launched our ‘Let’s talk berries’ campaign as explains Charlotte Knowles, Marketing & Communications director at BerryWorld Group:
“It was the first time after 2.5 years we were back at an international exhibition, face to face with the wider BerryWorld team, as well as suppliers and customers so felt it was the right time to celebrate our people, and the importance of those relationships we had one taken for granted pre-pandemic”.
Fruit Attraction was also a great opportunity to showcase and sample our exclusive and award-winning berry varieties to some of the 90,000 visitors from around the world. The in season varieties that were sampled with excellent feedback included BerryWorld Jewel raspberry, from the BerryWorld Plus breeding programme as well as BerryWorld exclusive varieties BerryWorld Midnight blackberry from the Beekers Berries Breeding programme, and BerryWorld Eureka blueberry from the Mountain Blue programme.
All in all, a tremendously positive show which highlighted the importance of global exhibitions and the interactions that come with them.
