A fruity alternative to the classic festive mulled wine, perfect for sharing on those chilly evenings.

Pour the wine and apple juice into a large saucepan.

Add the sugar, cinnamon stick and star anise.

Heat gently stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Add 300 g of berries and continue heating very gently for 15 minutes.

Add the orange slices and continue to heat for another 5 minutes.

Serve warm in glasses or cups with extra fresh berries to garnish and slices of orange.
