Since 1994 we’ve worked with our partners to breed, grow and bring great berries to shoppers. Our R&D teams have tried, tested and developed over 2 million varieties to make sure our berries are always delicious.

FRANCK DIEUDONNÉ, FRANCE

Franck joined BerryWorld in 2019, with a full background in agro food business both on sales management and marketing, quickly understood the potential of BerryWorld in France.

Today, as General Manager at BerryWorld France, Franck actively contributes to the strong growth of this young company. He is committed to push forward his team in facing the new challenges of the French market.

JOHAN DE WITTE, THE NETHERLANDS

After 10 years of experience in the fruit and vegetable industry, Johan joined BerryWorld’s sales team in March 2010.

During his time as Sales Director, Johan helped successfully expand the business’ commercial relationships beyond Holland, to include Scandinavia and Central and Northern Europe. With Wil Beekers’ transition to European CEO of the BerryWorld Group, Johan now assumes the role of Managing Director of BerryWorld’s business in The Netherlands.

JASON RICHARDSON, South Africa

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, Jason subsequently spent 15 years in the FMCG environment; the majority of which was focussed on the berry category. In 2005, Jason joined BerryWorld in the United Kingdom and was appointed as Financial Director in 2007.

In 2014, he joined BerryWorld South Africa as General Manager, assisting in leading the company through a high growth phase, which included strong expansion of both its grower and customer base. In January 2018, Jason was appointed as Managing Director, South Africa.

Ivan Leache, Spain

Iván has nearly three decades experience in the berries having worked across the supply chain.

He was appointed in 2016 to lead the BerryWorld project in Iberia, since then he has had a key role in expanding our growing operations in Spain, Portugal and Morocco onboarding new growers and consolidating operations with our existing grower base whilst developing relationships with key local retailers.

Paul Cole, United Kingdom

Paul joined BerryWorld's sales team in March 2004, rising to Sales Director in 2006.

He implemented an in-depth category management approach to drive customers and invest in market data. In January 2016, he was appointed Managing Director, UK.

GAVIN SCURR, Australia

Gavin Scurr is a seasoned fresh produce grower and industry leader with experience spanning more than 30 years in Australian horticulture.

Gavin is Managing Director of Piñata Farms Pty Ltd, Queensland-based producer of premium strawberries since 2000 and now with year-round production of pineapples and strawberries, plus seasonal Honey Gold mangoes. He is renowned as an innovator and industry visionary.

SAM ROWE, Group

Sam joined BerryWorld in 2009 as a management trainee, progressing to berry varietal development.

Today, Sam is CEO of BerryWorld's Varieties Division, overseeing breeding and varietal development, including leveraging BerryWorld’s propriety genetics worldwide, and working with growers and propagators to supply high quality, high yielding, sweet tasting plants.

WIL BEEKERS, Group

Wil has been in fruit and veg breeding/growing in Holland since 1985 and was a key player in expanding BerryWorld across Europe.

In 2007, he joined forces with VitalBerry Marketing and BerryWorld, which became known as BerryWorld The Netherlands. In 2017, Wil's business was acquired and he is now the Divisional CEO of Growing and Packing.

Adam Olins, Group

Adam joined Louis Reece Ltd in 1982 and created BerryWorld Ltd in 1994, taking on the role of Managing Director and Group CEO.

Originally a UK-based marketing business in partnership with a major strawberry grower/breeder, Adam has steered the business to success, with multi-local teams across the supply chain, but still keeping the same solid foundations and founding principles of the early days.

Adrian Olins, Group

Adrian, fourth generation in the fresh produce industry, started at BerryWorld in 2004.

In 2007, he began leading the internationalisation of the business as CCO and today is Divisional CEO, responsible for berry marketing and sales globally.

Tim Newton, Group

Tim has worked in various technical roles with vegetable and salad crops in before joining BerryWorld in 1994 as Technical Manager and today is Chief Technical Officer for the BerryWorld Group.

Charlotte Knowles, Group

Charlie joined BerryWorld in 2009, working initially in business development before becoming a Category Analyst in the UK Sales team.

Since then, Charlie built a category management function within the UK, headed up marketing for the UK business and spearheaded innovative own label and branded campaigns to drive berry consumption. Today, Charlie is Group Marketing & Communications Director. She oversees the global development of the BerryWorld brand, and all of its communication channels, to ensure a consistent experience that bursts with berry goodness the world over.
